Job summary

Benihana in Chandler, AZ is seeking a dedicated Hibachi chef to engage guests with a dynamic cooking show and deliver high-quality meals. You will prepare a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables while maintaining a clean, organized cooking area and following strict safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of Benihana's chef training program. Prior chef or cook experience is highly desirable and candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced dining

• Must be able to successfully pass Benihana chef training program
• Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Performs hibachi cooking shows for guests and ensures safe, accurate food preparation.
• Assembles and cooks food to order, maintains kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows company portioning, recipes, and presentation standards.
• Adheres to safety and FIFO guidelines for food handling.
