Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services as needed to meet the patient’s needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, documenting vital signs, and following the plan of care. Requirements include CPR, ability to read and follow instructions, and completion of Maxim’s competency program. Competitive benefits available.

• Meets state/federal training requirements as applicable

Responsibilities

• Assist patient according to plan of care
• Help with bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding
• Record vital signs and report changes to nurse supervisor
• Support safe transfers and ambulation
• Provide exercises as ordered
• Assist with simple procedures per therapy plan
• Handle patient laundry and safety needs
• Educate on home safety practices
• Recognize emergencies and follow procedures
• Maintain clear communication with client/family and office
• Observe patient condition and report changes to supervising nurse

Hourly Pay: $12 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient’s needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting patient with and per plan of care, the following;
• Baths, Oral hygiene, Dressing and undressing, Toileting activities, feeding, etc
• Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
• Safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• Exercise according to the plan of care
• Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
• Patient’s laundry
• Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.)
• Observation and teaching of home safety practices
• Recognition of an emergency situation and knowledge of emergency management procedures
• Must follow patients plan of care and complete all tasks assigned
• Communicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family/caregiver and office
• Observes and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisor

Requirements:

• Meets all training requirements in accordance with state and federal laws when applicable
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care given
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification in accordance with state regulation
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations
• Participation and completion of Maxim’s competency program
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
