Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services per the plan of care to meet the patient’s needs in Greenwood, SC.

Qualifications

• Meets training requirements per state and federal laws where applicable.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care.
• Possess and maintain current CPR certification per state regulation.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation and completion of Maxim's competency program.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist patient per plan of care with baths, hygiene, dressing, toileting and feeding.
• Record vital signs when ordered (temp, pulse, resp, BP) with demonstrated competency.
• Ensure safe transfer and ambulation per plan of care.
• Provide range of motion and basic therapy per order.
• Handle patient laundry and maintain safety using equipment correctly.
• Observe, document, and report patient condition changes to the nurse supervisor.

Hourly Pay: $12 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare Services is hiring for a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care services, as necessary, to meet the patient's needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting patient with and per plan of care, the following;
  • Baths, Oral hygiene, Dressing and undressing, Toileting activities, feeding, etc
  • Taking and recording oral, rectal and axillary temperatures, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
  • Safe transfer and ambulation techniques
  • Exercise according to the plan of care
  • Performing range of motion and other simple procedures as an extensional therapy service as ordered (with appropriate completed/demonstrated skills competency)
  • Patient's laundry
  • Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.)
  • Observation and teaching of home safety practices
  • Recognition of an emergency situation and knowledge of emergency management procedures
• Must follow patients plan of care and complete all tasks assigned
• Communicates in a constant, clear, and effective way with the client, family/caregiver and office
• Observes and documents patient condition and reports any changes, to the assigned nurse supervisor
