Job summary

Summit Home Care is a NYS licensed home care agency serving all five boroughs of NYC and Long Island. We are recruiting Home Health Aides to provide compassionate, reliable care for adult and pediatric patients in Bronx and surrounding areas.

You can choose which days and shifts you want to work, with opportunities for Full-time, Part-time, or Per Diem roles. Summit offers daily access to pay, benefits, and a supportive team environment, along with health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate.
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization if needed.
• Two reference letters required.
• Recent physical exam.
• TB screening recommended.
• Rubella & Rubeola titers may be required.

Responsibilities

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with daily living activities per the Plan of Care.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
• Help with meals and basic housekeeping.
• Escort the patient to doctor visits and errands.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities:

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.)
• Assist with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition
• Help with patient meals and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions
• Accompany the patient to doctor's visits, shopping, and other errands

Home Health Aide (HHA) Requirements:

• Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card &; Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Reference Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Rubella &; Rubeola titer lab work
