Job summary

Summit Home Care, a NYS licensed home care agency serving NYC and Long Island, is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA). You can choose the days and shifts you want to work.

Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate, government ID, SSN, 2 references, recent physical, TB screening, and rubella/rubeola titers. Job types: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem. Summit offers a $19.65–$20.65 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate.
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card & Work Authorization, if needed.
• 2 Reference Letters.
• Recent Physical.
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred).
• Rubella & Rubeola titer lab work.

Responsibilities

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.).
• Assist with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care.
• Monitor patients and report on their condition.
• Help with patient meals and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions.
• Accompany the patient to doctor's visits, shopping, and other errands.
