Summit Home Care is a NYS licensed home care agency serving all five boroughs of NYC and Long Island. We offer the chance to pick days and shifts that suit you for work as a Home Health Aide.

Responsibilities include daily personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and accompanying patients to appointments after you join our compassionate team. We provide benefits and flexible scheduling, with payroll access and union membership.

Qualifications

• New York State Home Health Aide Certificate required.
• Two reference letters required.
• TB screening and rubella/rubeola titers checks.
• Government ID, Social Security Card and work authorization if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care).
• Assist with activities of daily living per Plan of Care.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes.
• Help with meals and light housekeeping.
• Accompany patients to appointments and errands.

Home Health Aide (HHA) Responsibilities:

• Daily personal care (bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, etc.)
• Assist with the daily living activities per the Plan of Care
• Monitor patients and report on their condition
• Help with patient meals and feeding, as well as basic housekeeping functions
• Accompany the patient to doctor's visits, shopping, and other errands

Home Health Aide (HHA) Requirements:

• Must have New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Government Issued ID, Social Security Card &; Work Authorization, if needed
• 2 Reference Letters
• Recent Physical
• TB Screening (Quantiferon preferred)
• Rubella &; Rubeola titer lab work
