Job summary

Right at Home Boston Southwest is seeking caring Home Health Aides for part-time weekday and weekend shifts in the Boston area. You’ll support seniors with daily activities, hygiene, mobility and meal prep, while delivering compassionate, individualized care.

We offer training, a strong support network, and options like on-demand pay, with a focus on safety and client dignity. Driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience: At least six months as an HHA or PCA with state-approved training.
• Skills: Compassionate caregiving, English proficiency, and reliability.
• Transportation: Valid driver’s license with insured vehicle or reliable transport.
• Certifications: CPR recommended and completion of state licensing criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily assistance incl. personal hygiene, mobility, eating, dressing and light housekeeping.
• Prepare simple meals and support kitchen activities for clients.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY:

Providing compassionate assistance with daily activities, including personal hygiene (toileting,bathing, mouth care, skin and hair care), mobility, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping,and other household tasks.

Preparing simple meals and being comfortable in the kitchen.

OUR BEST TEAM MEMBERS HAVE:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Experience: At least six months as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA), with successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide, HAA, or PCA course.
• Skills: A compassionate approach to caregiving, ability to meet job demands, and proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension).
• Transportation: A valid driver’s license and access to an insured automobile, or reliable transportation for work.
• Certifications: Current CPR certificate recommended, as well as a Competency Evaluation meeting state licensing standards for home health aides.
