Job summary

Senior Helpers Parent Account in Sarasota, FL is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care, helping seniors maintain independence and quality of life.

You will assist with personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and health monitoring while following care plans. We offer flexible shifts and competitive pay based on experience to support your dedication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Previous care-giving or HHA experience is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to safely assist with transfers and mobility.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Home Health Aide, you'll provide compassionate care and support that helps clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

Personal Care Support

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Help clients maintain dignity, comfort, and independence

Household Assistance

• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

Nutrition & Meal Preparation

• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs

Companionship & Emotional Support

• Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Accompany clients on walks, appointments, or errands
• Reduce loneliness and provide reassurance and friendship

Health & Wellness Monitoring

• Observe and report changes in physical or mental condition
• Follow care plans and company protocols to ensure high-quality care
