Job summary

UHA University Health Associates is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional with Hematology/Oncology expertise to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in infusion and ambulatory settings. The APP will perform rounds, conduct assessments, and coordinate tests and consults with the clinical team.

The role emphasizes education for residents and students, adherence to clinical guidelines, and active involvement in discharge planning and patient follow-up to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an RN and APRN in WV.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required with additional Advanced Life Support training as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care in infusion center and ambulatory settings.
• Performs daily rounds and pre-treatment evaluations in infusion center.
• Orders tests or consults per clinical guidelines.
• Documents plan of care and coordinates discharge planning and follow-up.
