Qualifications

• RN and APRN licensure in West Virginia or eligibility required.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing from CCNE-accredited program and national APRN certification.
• BLS certification with ACLS as applicable.
• PA candidates: ARC-PA accredited PA program, NCCPA certification, WV licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive care for hematology/oncology patients in infusion center and ambulatory settings.
• Conduct rounds, pre-treatment evaluations, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Develop and document individualized plan of care with the clinical team.
• Educate residents and students; participate in clinical teaching activities.
• Order tests and coordinate services; ensure accurate medical record documentation.
• Lead care coordination, discharge planning, and follow-up arrangements as needed.
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure adherence to guidelines and protocols.
