Job summary

TEKsystems in Powell, TN is seeking a helpdesk support technician for contract work handling customer and problem information in the ticketing system. You will update, verify, and close tickets, delivering excellent local and remote support while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities include account setup, reporting, printer setup, and occasional travel to remote facilities. On-call duties and vendor coordination are required; the role is fully onsite in Powell, TN.

Qualifications

• Experience providing helpdesk support and resolving hardware/software issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident handling processes.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Record customer and problem information into the ticketing system.
• Update tickets with entries and close tickets after verification with end user.
• Provide excellent customer service for local and remote users.
• Set up new user accounts and printers; run and distribute reports.
• Administer LAN/WAN concepts and Mobile Device Management basics.
• On-call availability for after-hours support and maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors as needed and assist with network/OS testing.
