Job summary

Reef Capital in Utah is seeking a Helpdesk Technician Intern to join our IT team. The intern will support daily helpdesk operations, assist with onboarding/offboarding, and help maintain software licenses and hardware inventory across Lehi and Park City offices.

The role emphasizes customer service, technical curiosity, and the opportunity to learn by receiving regular coaching and mentoring in a fast-paced environment. This internship is on-site in Lehi with occasional Park City visits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Familiarity with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
• Interest in applying generative AI to technical workflows.
• Basic understanding of security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on site in Lehi with weekly commuting to Park City; mileage reimbursed.
• Ability to move and set up IT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Triage, resolve, and escalate helpdesk tickets across Windows and Mac environments.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, provisioning software/hardware, and managing MDM systems.
• Support administration of various software platforms and maintain licensing records.
• Maintain IT equipment and inventory across Lehi and Park City offices.
• Create and maintain documentation; assist with staff training on systems.
• Identify automation opportunities and learn to apply AI to IT processes.
