Job summary

Antares in Torrance, CA is seeking an IT Helpdesk Intern to support day-to-day technology needs for a growing team. You’ll troubleshoot accounts, applications, and hardware, deploy laptops, and help maintain IT systems while gaining hands-on experience across onboarding, endpoint maintenance, inventory, cybersecurity, and user training.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and entering junior or senior year.
• Prior internship or >1 year project/technical experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot day-to-day user issues involving accounts, applications, hardware, and IT systems
• Create and configure accounts for new employees
• Deploy and configure new laptops and workstations
• Set up desks and IT equipment for new and existing employees
• Diagnose aging systems and coordinate hardware swaps
• Patch and maintain employee systems
