102 H.I.G. Capital Management, LLC is seeking a Service Desk Intern to join our IT team in New York, NY. This part-time internship lasts 6 months, with 20+ hours per week and a daily schedule from 9:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m. The role is onsite, with accommodation for class schedules and potential extension based on performance and business needs. We seek a self-motivated, energetic candidate with strong organizational skills and a customer-service mindset to thrive in our high-volume, demanding help

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college degree program in IT-related field.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
• Strong understanding of Windows 11 and Office 365.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced help desk environment.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a case load of incoming service requests daily and provide basic-to-intermediate PC software/hardware support.
• Determine root causes and troubleshoot to ensure personnel satisfaction and productivity.
• Perform software and hardware installations as necessary.
• Troubleshoot wireless and wired networking issues (DNS, TCP/IP).
• Provide first-level desk-side or remote support using network tools.
• Assist with imaging and deployment in an enterprise environment; support mobile device management.
