Summit Wash Holdings in Norwalk, CT is seeking an entry-level IT Help Desk specialist to provide first-line support to internal users, troubleshoot Windows and macOS issues, manage user accounts in Azure AD, and assist with hardware imaging and onboarding.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and learning new tools; remote-friendly with flexible scheduling, on-site support as needed, and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
• 0-1 years of experience in a help desk, IT support, or customer service role

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal end users, providing friendly, responsive support in person, by phone.
• Deploy, configure, and image laptops for new hires and equipment refreshes
• Support new user onboarding, including account setup, hardware provisioning, and orientation to company systems
• Assist with patch management and routine software/OS updates across end-user devices
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and monitoring, escalating complex issues to Tier 2/IT team as needed
• Log, track, and document all support requests thoroughly and accurately
• Maintain accurate inventory of laptops, peripherals, and other IT equipment
• Follow up with end users to confirm issues are fully resolved and satisfaction is high
• Support IT projects and process improvements as assigned
