Summit Wash Holdings is seeking a high-energy IT Help Desk Associate in Norwalk, CT. You will be the first line of contact for internal users, deploying laptops, onboarding new hires, and handling patch management and network issues.

The role requires 0-1 years in IT or customer support, with a basic knowledge of Windows/macOS, Azure AD, and MS 365. Flexible scheduling and remote work options are available, with a company culture focused on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; IT coursework/certifications a plus.
• Experience in a help desk, IT support, or customer service role is preferred (0-1 years).
• Basic working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS, Azure AD, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin suite and Office product troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for internal end users, providing friendly, responsive support in person, by phone.
• Deploy, configure, and image laptops for new hires and equipment refreshes.
• Support onboarding including account setup, hardware provisioning, and orientation to company systems.
• Assist with patch management and routine software/OS updates across end-user devices.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and monitor, escalate complex issues as needed.
• Log, track, and document all support requests thoroughly and accurately.
• Maintain accurate inventory of laptops, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Follow up with end users to confirm issues are resolved and satisfaction is high.
• Support IT projects and process improvements as assigned.
