Lenderworks located in Fairfax, VA is seeking an IT Help Desk I to support end users and keep systems running. The role focuses on front-line troubleshooting, account provisioning, and hardware setup for employees and contractors.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of corporate IT experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a willingness to work on-call shifts including evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in corporate IT.
• On-call schedule and occasional night/weekend work required.
• Knowledge of computer and network security concepts.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain PCs, networks, and related hardware/software.
• Strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication skills.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in IT related field.
• IT Certifications (A+, Security+, Network+, MS 365 Fundamentals).
• Self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills, able to coordinate multiple tasks.
• Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line technical support for all user requests via email, phone and in person.
• Respond to basic IT requests such as password resets, hardware configurations, and software installations.
• Support enterprise software including Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe suite.
• Onboarding, account provisioning and new user training/onboarding meetings.
• Image hardware for new and existing users; maintain inventory.
