Job summary

TEKsystems in Westlake, OH is seeking an Intermediate IT Support professional to join our contract team. You will answer calls on the IT support line, create service tickets, and help users solve hardware and software issues across a hybrid work environment.

You''ll respond to incidents via TopDesk, provide updates every 24-36 hours, and escalate when needed. The role requires strong customer service skills and familiarity with common IT tools and platforms.

Qualifications

• Community college or equivalency required.
• Ability to troubleshoot user computer hardware following profession best practices.
• IOS/Android knowledge beneficial
• Possess an extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Office like Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems experience beneficial in JDE, AX, SFDC, Qlik, Excel Macros
• COMPTIA+ preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, create service tickets, and assist users to solve problems.
• Respond to incidents via TopDesk, update users every 24-36 hours, and close tickets within 24 hours of resolution.
• Set up desktops, notebooks, and printers; troubleshoot OS/app errors.
• Set up and repair cell phones; track assets and distribute equipment.
• Provide general IT support as assigned by IT Management.
