Job summary

Pomeroy in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Help Desk Technician for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role provides on-site support for hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity, with hours 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include guiding end users through problem solving, triaging tickets, and collaborating with the desktop support team. Requires 1–3 years of helpdesk experience and strong hardware/software knowledge.

Pay: $20-$22/hr

• Provide Help Desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction.
• Provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware and/or software.
• Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority, as well as priority level set on the ticket itself
• Walk staff through problem-solving process Report unresolved issues to the Service Desk for escalation
• May provide hands on support for projects and assisting the desktop support team.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a Helpdesk/Service Desk environment
