Help Desk Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Hours: 4 pm - 12 am
Duties and Responsibilities – Job Specifications
1. Supervises assigned technical support staff in support of networked and stand-alone computer users and systems.
2. Supervises staff in recognizing, identifying, isolating, and resolving problems with information systems products and services.
3. Supervises the installation, testing, and setup of new hardware and software.
4. Assists subordinate technicians in resolving complex computer and/or network problems.
5. Recommends new hardware and software as needed.
6. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
7. Participates in special projects as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Professional Certification: Possess and maintain current Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II (Security+) & the ability to obtain a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
- or any IAT Level III Certification
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
1. Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in computer troubleshooting and support.
2. Advanced knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications.
3. Effective supervisory skills.
4. May require professional certification in one or more specific technologies, depending on job assignment.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
Experience: 5-8 years of experience
Clearance Level: SECRET
