Crisis Access Team Leader - 2nd Shift (Remote in IL)

Join our mission to transform lives at Rosecrance Behavioral Health. We are seeking a dedicated Crisis Access Team Leader - 2nd Shift (Remote in IL) to provide compassionate support to individuals in emotional distress and behavioral health crises. This role involves assessing caller needs, crisis intervention, emotional support, and connecting individuals to appropriate resources or emergency services. The position requires excellent communication skills, calmness under pressure, and a strong understanding of mental health and crisis management techniques.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or equivalent
  • Minimum QMHP qualification per Illinois Department of Health Rule 132
  • Experience in contact center or remote counseling preferred
  • Knowledge of crisis de-escalation and mental health issues
  • Strong communication, judgment, and computer skills
Responsibilities
  • Assess callers in crisis and determine severity
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and document interactions
  • Coordinate with Mobile Crisis Response team and connect callers to resources
  • Develop safety plans and escalate to emergency services when necessary
  • Supervise team members, ensure compliance, and participate in training
Schedule & Location
  • Monday - Friday, 4:00PM - 12:30AM
  • Mostly remote; candidates must live in IL and be able to drive to Rockford for orientation
Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting at $55,161/year plus shift differentials
