Job Summary

Responsible for providing supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates work flow within the major work unit. Ensures compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Promotes a customer-driven service culture. Customarily and regularly directs the work of at least two or more other full-time employees or their equivalent.

Job Description

This is a 2nd shift position. The working schedule will be Monday - Friday from 3pm - 11:30pm EST.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead daily operations of a specific Level 1 & Level 2 operational shift for Comcast’s Security Incident Response Team.
  2. Review all cyber security investigations and incidents to identify those requiring additional attention or escalation.
  3. Ensure investigations and incident tickets meet quality standards.
  4. Assist with escalations to complete ongoing work.
  5. Raise concerns to leadership promptly.
  6. Communicate incident status to stakeholders including Cyber Security, Operations, Legal, and Communications.
  7. Develop metrics, KPIs, and reports.
  8. Mentor and develop junior incident responders, including HR and career growth.
  9. Partner with other incident monitoring, detection, and response functions.
  10. Develop expertise in Comcast products and services.

Qualifications

Required:

  1. 5+ years of Cyber Security experience.
  2. At least 3 years managing a team, preferably in Security Operations.
  3. Detail-oriented with a solid technical understanding of Incident Response processes.
  4. Knowledge of major threat actor groups and TTPs.
  5. Experience with enterprise endpoint and network defense tools.
  6. Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  7. Ability to coach and lead team members of varying skills.

Nice to have:

  1. Experience in a large Fortune 50 environment.
  2. Experience in a globally disbursed/follow the sun model.
  3. Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, GCIA).

Compensation
