Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a large federal program. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities include end-user desktop support across Marine Corps installations, IT support for devices and software, and handling tickets within the Enterprise Service Desk framework. Candidates must have 1+ year IT experience, Security+ certification, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of IT experience
• Active Security+ certification
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• End-user desktop support across Marine Corps installations worldwide
• IT support for devices and technologies (network devices, laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, connectivity issues, OS issues, Outlook/Office, VTC)
• Support the Enterprise Service Desk operations
• Execute scripts and answer calls
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues
• Open and close tickets
• Correlate events and incidents for IT service management
