Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support a large federal program. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities include end-user desktop support across Marine Corps installations, IT support for devices and software, and handling tickets within the Enterprise Service Desk framework. Candidates must have 1+ year IT experience, Security+ certification, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

• Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues
• Open and close tickets
• Correlate events and incidents for IT service management

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for an Help Desk Specialist to join a large federal program. This is a full-time position and onsite in New Orleans, LA.

Essential Duties of the Help Desk Specialist:

• Responsible for end-user desktop support across numerous Marine Corps installations worldwide.
• Providing IT support for various devices/technologies including the network devices, laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, connectivity issues, OS issues, Outlook/Microsoft Office support, Video Teleconference (VTC), etc.
• Conduct operations in support of the Enterprise Service Desk.
• Execute scripts and answer calls.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or escape technical issues.
• Open and close tickets.
• Correlate events and incidents for management of Information Technology (IT) Services.

Qualifications of the Help Desk Specialist:

• 1+ years of IT experience
• Active Security+ certification
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Compensation for the Help Desk Specialist:

• $50,000 - $60,000 (based on experience)
