Job summary

Zachery Piper Solutions seeks a Help Desk Specialist to support a DoD program based in New Orleans, LA. The role provides end-user technical support across a large enterprise environment and begins on a night-shift schedule with potential shift changes after initial months.

Active Secret Clearance and CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT II certification are required, along with hands-on troubleshooting and ticketing experience. Comp benefits and standard IT service operations are included.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• At least 1 year of IT support experience.
• IAT II certification (Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or higher-level equivalent) is required.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, ticketing tools, and general IT support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other network-connected equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues related to connectivity, operating systems, Microsoft/Office applications, and VTC systems.
• Collaborate with employees and leadership to diagnose and resolve IT problems.
• Support daily operations of the Enterprise Service Desk.
• Manage service tickets, run scripts, answer incoming calls, and meet established service metrics.
