Job summary

Goodwill NCW is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Technician to join our Mission Support Office in Menasha, WI. You will be the first point of contact for technology issues, provide hardware and software support, and help keep our systems running smoothly in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

The role requires an associates degree or equivalent experience, at least two years of help desk work, strong communication, and the ability to work on-call evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in relevant field is required, but applicable work experience may substitute.
• At least 2 years of related Technical Support or Help Desk experience.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and internal customers.
• Knowledge of PC repair and software installation.
• Strong time management and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide best in class customer service as the first contact for tech issues.
• Review, categorize and prioritize incidents in the Help Desk system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software problems to first-call resolution.
• Set up workstations and onboard new team members with required software.
• Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access across systems.
• Maintain the Help Desk system and report on trends of outages.
• Support SharePoint and assist with meetings setup.
