New Resources Consulting in Green Bay, WI is seeking an IT Help Desk / Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for employees. The role involves software, system access, hardware, and daily tech needs in a collaborative IT environment.

The candidate should handle AD user administration and basic networking, while guiding users through new tools. Two years of relevant experience and IT-related education are preferred, with strong problem-solving and customer service

Qualifications

2 years of work or internship experience in technical support or desktop support.
Preferred Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT.
Familiar with Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory.
Experience troubleshooting end-user devices and network connectivity.
Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for employees needing software, access, or hardware support.
Administer user accounts in Active Directory: resets, unlocks, group updates.
Diagnose workstation, connectivity, and basic network issues; escalate complex cases.
Provide guidance and training to help employees adopt new tools.
Suggest process or tech improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Collaborate with IT team to maintain reliable technology services.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user instructions.
