Job summary

Peoplelink Group is recruiting for a Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Recruiter in the Birmingham area. This hybrid role supports high-volume production hiring and specialized skilled trades, safety, quality, and engineering needs.

You will build talent pipelines, conduct in-depth interviews, and coordinate the full lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding, serving clients and candidates with a strong service mindset.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, or closely related experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting for heavy industrial manufacturing and industrial skilled trades is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is a plus.
• Strong sourcing and candidate-engagement skills with the ability to build credibility with hourly production employees, experienced industrial craft professionals, technical specialists, and manufacturing leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruiting strategies for heavy industrial manufacturing openings, including high-volume production and skilled trades.
• Build proactive pipelines based on production schedules, shift needs, and client workforce plans.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, schools, and networks.
• Conduct detailed phone and in-person interviews to evaluate industrial experience and capabilities.
• Coordinate skills assessments, verifications, client submittals, offers, onboarding, and follow-up communications.
