Job summary

C3 AI in New York seeks an Industry Solution Leader for Heavy Industrial to guide enterprise AI solutions in EAF and mini‑mill supply chains. You will lead cross‑functional teams, work with planners, production, pricing, and procurement, and own end‑to‑end delivery from problem definition to production deployment.

The role requires deep domain expertise, hands‑on project leadership, and a track record of delivering measurable business value in complex industrial settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• 7+ years in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, planning, logistics, procurement, pricing, or operations research.
• Experience in complex manufacturing or global enterprises.
• Strong understanding of service levels, lead times, and inventory policies.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution strategy, direction, and delivery outcomes for engaged customers.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing supply chain expert guiding processes and objectives.
• Identify high-impact opportunities across demand, inventory, planning, pricing and logistics.
• Translate challenges into AI/ML, optimization, and software problems with clear constraints and value.
• Lead engagements through requirements, architecture, deployment, and scale.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver value.
• Work with planners, manufacturing, procurement, and executives to validate requirements and outcomes.
• Ensure data interpretation aligns with business realities and maintains solution quality.
