Job summary

C3 AI, Inc. is seeking an Industry Solution Leader for Heavy Industrial with a specialization in Mining & Milling to drive end-to-end AI solutions for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, reliability, maintenance, or consulting.
• Deep experience in asset-intensive industries (mining, metals, chemicals, oil & gas, utilities).
• Experience solving complex operational problems and improving equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Strong understanding of industrial processes, controls, and workflows.
• Experience with industrial data, sensor signals, time-series data, and maintenance history.
• Experience with SCADA, MES, ERP, DCS, or CMMS/EAM systems.
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution strategy, technical direction, and delivery outcomes for engagements from problem definition to deployment.
• Serve as primary customer-facing solution leader and domain expert across operations and maintenance.
• Identify high-impact opportunities in reliability, production performance, and energy efficiency.
• Translate engineering challenges into AI/ML/optimization problems with clear requirements.
• Lead engagement activities from use case definition to validation and scale-out.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical credibility and delivery success.
• Guide data interpretation and ensure alignment with engineering fundamentals and operations.
