Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, HVAC, suspension, and drive trains. Role involves on-site and road service, with training on new technologies and equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical proficiency.
• Experience with maintenance on Classes 1-5 light/medium duty and heavy-duty Class 7-8 trucks or equivalent.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge and repairs vehicle components and systems on-site and on the road.
• Chassis, refuse bodies, braking, suspension, driveline, and HVAC maintenance.
• Perform line welding and fabrication as needed; provide road service when required.
