Job summary
Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis components, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, and HVAC. You will work with a lead, receiving training in new technologies while supporting drivers on routes.

Qualifications
- Diagnose multi-system issues with technical expertise.
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
- Experience with maintenance on Class 1-5 and heavy-duty trucks or related schooling.
- Ase certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
- CDL is a plus but not required.
- 3-5 years of technician experience or recent automotive school graduate within 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair vehicle components and systems on-site and on the road.
- Chassis component repair and maintenance, and refuse bodies with hydraulic/electrical systems.
- Light engine repair and maintenance.
- Repair suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.
- Service heating and air conditioning.
- Perform line welding and fabrication.
- Provide road service to return equipment to operation safely.
