Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to repair and maintain our diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, braking, engines, HVAC, and suspension systems. You will work with state-of-the-art fleet vehicles to support drivers on their routes and ensure reliable service.

The role requires diagnosing multiple systems, performing on-site and on-road repairs, and staying current with training.

Qualifications

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and consistently demonstrate technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Chassis repair and maintenance.
• Refuse bodies and braking systems (air/hydraulic).
• Engine repair and diagnostics.
• Diesel fuel systems diagnostics.
• Suspension, drivetrain and steering repairs.
• HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• Aftertreatment systems and regen diagnostics.
• Electrical concerns diagnosed with scan tools.
• Line maintenance, welding and fabrication.
