Job summary
Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems. You will service on-site and on the road, using electronic diagnostic tools to diagnose failures and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and consistently demonstrate technical expertise.
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
- 3-5 years of technician experience diagnosing and repairing gasoline and diesel equipment or graduating from an accredited automotive college or technical school within the next 3 months.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and repair maintenance on chassis components, refuse bodies, braking, engines, HVAC, suspension, driveline and steering.
- Safely provide on-site and road service to ensure equipment is returned to operation.
- Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and complete required training.
