Job summary

American Equipment, LLC in New York seeks a Heavy Equipment Support Coordinator to assist the Heavy Equipment Operations with daily administrative tasks, customer support, scheduling, and billing coordination. You will partner with the Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and internal teams to ensure work is documented, billed accurately, and moved forward efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy equipment, construction equipment, or similar service environment.
• Ability to work in a busy environment with shifting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with computers, reports, invoices, and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Heavy Equipment Operations with daily administrative tasks and scheduling.
• Answer customer and internal service calls, gather details, coordinate information, and provide updates.
• Ensure work is completed, documented, communicated, and billed accurately and timely.
• Coordinate and track external testing and services with vendors.
• Follow up with technicians, vendors, customers, and other departments to move a job forward.
