The JOY FM in Augusta, GA is seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Yard Coordinator to oversee all activities within the yard and storage facility. You will maintain equipment, coordinate material movements, and perform general maintenance to keep the yard running smoothly.

This role requires outdoor work, attention to safety, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure quality and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires operating heavy equipment safely and in compliance with safety standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and organization to support operations.

Description

We are seeking a heavy equipment yard coordinator. The yard coordinator is responsible for overseeing all activities within our company’s yard and storage facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment, this will include washing, cleaning and fueling machines.


• Coordinating movement of materials and equipment in the yard so that the yard remains functional, clean and organized.


• Perform general maintenance task.

Skills

• Ability to perform heavy lifting.


• Attention to detail.


• Ability to collaborate with all departments within the company to ensure quality and continued customer service for the organization.


• Strong organizational skills.


• Ability to follow directions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay, health, dental and vision benefits along with a 401(k) plan and paid time off!

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment


• Valid driver's license (Not required but a plus)


• Safety and Compliance of all heavy equipment usage


• High School Diploma or equivalent.

This role is performed outdoors sometimes exposing you to varying weather conditions and does require walking and standing for several hours.
