You will handle documentation, diagnostics, and component testing, working closely with the team to improve shop performance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in heavy equipment repair, and flexibility for varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Diesel Technology or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in heavy equipment repair, maintenance, or related technical field.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules including shifts, weekends, and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned repair tasks efficiently, aiming to meet or surpass flat rate times and minimize re‑do rate.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Accurately complete work orders, parts orders, JSA, and data in DBS, SIMS, SIS Web, and STW.
• Adhere to contamination control and HAZMAT guidelines for safety and compliance.
• Remove/install machine parts, disassemble/reassemble components, test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide quotations and pricing estimates by evaluating repair needs and resources.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures using advanced diagnostic tools and knowledge.
• Conduct testing and verification to confirm successful repairs before closure.
• Perform root-cause analyses and develop effective repair solutions.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and best practices with team and supervisors.
