Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair or related field.
• Willingness to work varied schedules including shifts, weekends, and potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair tasks efficiently, aiming to meet or exceed flat rate times and minimize re‑work.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe workplace for all team members.
• Accurately complete work orders, parts orders, JSA, and data entries in DBS/SIMS/SIS Web/STW.
• Enforce containment and HAZMAT guidelines for safety and regulatory compliance.
• Remove/install machine parts, disassemble/reassemble, and test/adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Provide precise quotations by evaluating repair needs and resource requirements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures using advanced tools and knowledge.
• Test and verify repairs prior to job closure to ensure proper operation.
• Apply failure analysis methods to determine root causes and repair solutions.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to communicate progress and improve shop performance.
