Job summary

Southwest JCB is seeking a Shop Technician Heavy Equipment AZ to diagnose and repair JCB machinery in our Phoenix shop. The role involves sourcing parts, documenting repairs, and maintaining equipment assets with a focus on quality maintenance and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in heavy equipment repair, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work independently in a shop environment while lifting up to 75lbs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
• Computer-literate with the ability to process information.
• Ability to communicate, prioritize, and maintain time management.
• Physically able to perform duties and lift up to 75lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment and components.
• Source and order parts to ensure repairs are fixed correctly the first time.
• Work in a shop environment on various JCB machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance in a shop setting as directed.
• Communicate repair progress to the Service Manager and customer to ensure satisfaction.
• Use of company vehicles and tooling while maintaining assets.
• Complete all paperwork promptly including work orders and parts orders.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned by management.
