Job summary

Peak JCB seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic in Utah to diagnose, repair, recondition, overhaul and maintain customer equipment. Some travel to customer sites may be required. Work involves heavy lifting and clear communication with clients and team members for timely repairs.

You will perform engine and component repairs, read electrical/hydraulic schematics, and prepare inspection and service reports. Competitive hourly rate with 401k and paid training offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in electrical, drive train, engines, hydraulics and computer controlled systems.

Responsibilities

• Repairs heavy equipment engine and components.
• Reads electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Prepares inspection and appraisal reports.
• Charges work to correct work order segments.
• Prepares accurate service reports and submits on time.
• Communicates with Service Writer or Shop Manager to ensure issues and repairs are understood.
