Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently enrolled as a student.
• Strong interest in repairing heavy equipment, machinery, or related mechanical fields.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists experienced technicians with diagnostics in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, repairs, and maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Continuously learns to interpret technical documents, such as schematics, service manuals, and inspection reports.
• Observes experienced technicians to learn how to properly order parts, complete service documents, and perform repair processes.
• Completes assigned tasks accurately and efficiently while demonstrating a willingness to learn
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, including shop tools and equipment
• Attends training sessions, toolbox talks, and team meetings
