GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled equipment operator to safely operate forklifts, bobcats, backhoes, track hoes, and related machinery to bale, load and move waste material on-site.

The role requires daily inspection and maintenance, fluid checks, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to communicate with field and office teams. Forklift certification is required and a Transfer Station/Landfill Ops certification may be needed.

Responsabilidades

• Operate equipment to bale and load waste material into trailers.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance checks of equipment.
• Grease/lubricate equipment, check and add fluids daily.
• Steer, guide and/or drive listed equipment at the site.
• Substitute for another operator as needed.
• Clean trash from tracks of heavy equipment daily.
• Use two-way radio to communicate with co-workers.
• Comply with laws, company policies and directives.
• Maintain grounds and facility appearance.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
