Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a capable heavy equipment operator to bale, load and move waste material using excavators, loaders and bulldozers. You will inspect and maintain equipment daily, grease and top up fluids, and substitute for teammates as needed on site.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), forklift certification, and the ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if required. Excellent safety and teamwork are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to bale and load waste into trailers.

• Substitute for other operators as needed.
• Maintain grounds and attend safety meetings.
