Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment gauges.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to bale and load waste or other material into trailers.
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Grease and lubricate equipment; check and add fluids daily.
• Steer, guide, or drive equipment at the assigned site.
• Substitute for other operators as needed.
• Clean debris from equipment tracks and gear as required.
• Use two-way radio to communicate with field/office teams.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain grounds and facility appearance.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Education

GED or High School Diploma

Forklift Certification

Certification: Transfer Station/Landfill Operations (if needed)
