Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, seeks a Laborer/Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment and vehicles at our Ohio locations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, assist with maintenance, and help crew members while following strict safety procedures.

Experience with heavy equipment, welding, and basic fabrication is valued. Ability to travel and work nights or weekends when required is expected. Commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment and basic maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Detect safety hazards and respond to issues.
• Operate heavy equipment and trucks as directed.
• Follow directions and assist with general labor tasks.
• Weld and fabricate as needed per supervision.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe.
• Ensure crusher and equipment are fed safely when required.
