Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking a Union Equipment Operator in Streetsboro, OH. This role supports the foreperson by operating heavy equipment and performing plant-related duties to keep production on schedule.

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months related experience ok. Must be able to read safety rules/instructions and join Local 18 IUOE within 60 days. Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Willingness to travel and work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various heavy equipment safely and efficiently depending on the job site.
• Clean up around the plant and surrounding area.
• Lubricate and perform general maintenance on equipment.
• Follow directions from foreperson and supervisors.
