Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to run heavy equipment and support vegetation management along electrical lines. A valid driver license is required, with a CDL preferred, and field work across multiple states is expected.

The role is a full-time, non-exempt position offering competitive wages, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and retirement options. Safety training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Driver license required; CDL preferred.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences and barb wire.
• Install and remove culverts, rocks and base.
• Work around highways and right-of-way areas.
• Use chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and large tree stumps.
• Supply brush to wood chipper and manage equipment maintenance.
• Apply herbicide from truck-mounted spray equipment with proper safety.
