Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator to drive and operate heavy equipment to clear vegetation from electrical lines. A valid driver license is required, and CDL is preferred.

The role involves transporting equipment across multiple states and performing maintenance on the equipment. Enjoy a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check.
• Driver license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders and dump trucks.
• Transport equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences and barb wire.
• Maintain trucks, chippers and other equipment in good working order.
• Work around hazards, noise and varying weather conditions; use chainsaw for brush and logs.
