Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Equipment Operator (Driver License Required) to operate heavy equipment and support vegetation management along electrical lines. The role involves transporting equipment, performing site prep, and applying safety procedures in various outdoor environments.

Applicants should be at least 18, possess knowledge of tree species, and be comfortable around electrical hazards. A CDL is preferred, and pre-employment screenings may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, skid steers, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, mowers, and stump grinders.
• Transport equipment to multi-state job locations.
• Install and remove gates, fences, culverts, and base materials.
• Use a chainsaw to cut brush and logs.
• Apply herbicides according to safety guidelines.
• Maintain trucks and equipment in good working order.
