Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring an Equipment Operator. The role requires operating heavy equipment to clear branches and vegetation from electrical lines, with driver license required.

Position involves traveling to multi-state job sites and performing maintenance on trucks and tools. Successful candidates will have a strong focus on safety, the ability to follow complex directions, and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to identify tree and shrub species.
• Familiar with electrical hazards.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background check and MVR may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy equipment such as Bulldozers, Backhoes, Skid Steers, Excavators and Dump Trucks.
• Transports equipment to and from multi-state job locations.
• Installs and removes gates, fences, culverts, rocks and bases.
• Supports brushing operations and uses a chainsaw for tree work as needed.
• Maintains equipment in clean, working order and follows safety procedures.
• Assists spray personnel with herbicide mixing and application per protocol.
